Prof. Meenal Mishra, Direktor, School of Sciences gilatid kon sa unsang paagi ang pag-instalar sa Automatic Weather Station (AWS) sa IGNOU Headquarters mahimong mapuslanon sa IGNOU faculty members, researchers, ug mga estudyante gikan sa nagkalain-laing disiplina sama sa geology, geoinformatics, geography, environmental sciences, agriculture, ug uban pa sa project work ug environmental research nga naglambigit sa meteorological data.
Mahimo usab kini nga mapuslanon alang sa mga katuyoan sa pagkahibalo sa lokal nga komunidad, dugang ni Prof Mishra.
